TRADEMARK
I. REGISTRATION PROCEDURE
Organizations/individuals that have registered a trademark in Myanmar in the form of a previous claim of ownership or have used a trademark in Myanmar that want to have rights to the mark under the Trademark Law 2019 must re-register it in accordance with the provisions of the Law on Trademarks. The re-application should be done as soon as possible.

1. Minimum application documents
To apply for a Trademark registration in Myanmar, the Applicant needs to provide the following information and documents:
  • Full information on trademarks previously declared in Myanmar;
  • A copy of the declaration of trademark ownership in Myanmar;
  • Evidence that the mark has been published in the press, in marketing, in advertising, or known to the general public;
  • Receipt of payment of fees/fees;
  • Original notarized power of attorney, translated into English. Copies can be used when submitting the application, but the original must be supplemented within 01 month from the date of application.
  • Sample of trademark (18 samples) not larger than 100mm x 100mm and not less than 50mm x 50mm;
  • List of registered products/services;
  • Transfer contract (if not the original user).
