The Intellectual Property Office of Vietnam (IPVN) has embarked on a commendable initiative to disseminate newly enacted legal regulations on intellectual property through a series of regional seminars titled "Dissemination of newly issued legal documents on intellectual property."

hese seminars have played a crucial role in educating stakeholders in the Southern and Central regions, with workshops held in Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang on November 15 and 17, 2023. Mr. Nguyen Van Bay, Deputy Director of the IPVN, emphasized the significance of amendments to the Intellectual Property Law, which took effect on January 1, 2023.

The amendments are strategically aligned with key objectives, including the promotion of research and innovation, the establishment of a robust legal framework for intellectual property protection and exploitation, and the fulfillment of international commitments in the intellectual property domain. Mr. Le Xuan Tien Trung, a positive representative from INVENMARK IP GROUP, Vietnam, expressed his satisfaction in joining the seminar.
